So Brian decided he should be given the duty of grilling at least 3 days a week. Who am I to deny him of his need to grill? LOL
He loves to grill and hey I love cooking so why not combine the two?
This is what we came up with...
Let's start from the beginning shall we....
While shopping last weekend we decided one of those grill ventures would be "fish"... that fish became tuna and I was not disappointed in the least.
*Side note: I really wanted halibut but it was $24 and I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much.
While I got everything ready for my Roasted Squash Barley Salad. Brian started prepping the tuna.
The Tuna steak was seasoned with salt, pepper and sesame seeds.
I roasted the squash and tomatoes the night before to make it easier for me :o) So with about 10min left on the barley Brian started grilling.
About 10 min later we had 2 dishes complete
Now it was time to slice the tuna and finish off the meal. With the tuna served on the barley salad we topped it with a little Wasabi and dinner was served ...
I always enjoy my time in the kitchen, but being able to spend some of that time working next to my love always makes it that much more enjoyable.
We also got to get in a couples workout this weekend too... check that post out.
Ciao and grill time
Alexis
